Journal History

Since its establishment, Uktub: Journal of Arabic Studies has continuously experienced growth in both the quality and quantity of manuscript submissions. In order to respond to the increasing academic interest and to provide wider dissemination of scholarly work, starting from Vol. 5, No. 1 (2025) the journal expanded its publication capacity to 11–12 articles per issue. This policy adjustment reflects the editorial commitment to accommodate a larger number of high-quality manuscripts deemed publishable, while at the same time reducing the potential backlog and waiting list for accepted articles. By doing so, the journal seeks to maintain its role as an inclusive and timely platform for advancing research in Arabic Studies.
