Motivation plays a crucial role in determining the success of students in language learning, particularly in subjects perceived as challenging, such as Arabic. This study aims to examine the influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach on students' motivation in learning Arabic. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, and document analysis at SMAN 1 Cikande. Primary data were obtained directly from teaching activities and stakeholder interviews, while secondary data were drawn from relevant literature, including books, journals, and previous research. The findings suggest that the integration of CTL strategies into Arabic language instruction positively impacts students’ engagement and enthusiasm for learning. Students demonstrated increased participation, reduced passivity, and a noticeable rise in curiosity toward Arabic lessons. These outcomes indicate that CTL is a promising approach to enhance students’ motivation and overall learning experiences in language education at the senior high school level.
