This study examines how stylistic devices in the Al-Aqdam chapter of Idhotun Nasyi’in construct the moral value of courage and how this construction supports moral literacy in classical Arabic text learning. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the research analyzes stylistic features such as qashr, tawkid, uslub amr, targhib–tarhib, historical contrast, and visual metaphors. The findings reveal that courage is not presented through normative definitions but constructed rhetorically as a binding moral obligation. Qashr and tawkīd position courage as duty; uslub amr urges action; historical contrast prompts ethical reflection; and visual metaphors with targhib–tarhib emphasize the social consequences of passivity. The text concludes with spiritual reinforcement, framing courage as an act of faith. These findings suggest that teaching classical Arabic texts should integrate stylistic analysis to foster moral literacy, enabling learning to go beyond linguistic competence toward internalized ethical behavior.Downloads
